A full-service beach resort, Sunset Waters offers a wide variety of activities both on land and sea. From diving to tennis, from mini golf to kayaks, there are activities here for all interests.
Beach.

Sunset Waters Beach Resort has the finest resort beach and ocean view location on the island. The beach has a beach volleyball court, restrooms and showers, and refreshment stand. |
Beach Restaurant, Bar and Activity Building.
The beach features a new two-story building along the channel jetty. The first floor has a high ceiling open-air bar and restaurant with its own kitchen. The bar has a "sports bar" theme and includes a pool table, darts, and occasionally live music. The second floor is a dramatic open-air area with a cathedral ceiling. The beach restaurant and bar, similar to all of the resort dining facilities and keys on the Main Terrace Level, as well as the second floor area, is positioned to enjoy spectacular sunset, coastline and bay views. The beach restaurant also enjoys spectacular views of the island's foothills to the west, including Christoffel Mountain's peak.
Pool.

Sunset Waters has a fresh water pool with a tiki bar (including half its seats in the pool), children's pool and whirlpool. The pool area itself has a large sunbathing area, as well as shower, changing rooms and rest rooms. .

Casino.

For those who like gaming, Sunset Waters offers a casino complete with both tables and slot machines. Sunset Waters Casino includes four tables featuring black jack, roulette and Caribbean poker. The 40 slots will shortly be increased to 80 with the addition of 40 Various Aristocrat machines.
Spa.
Sunset Waters Beach Resort has a new spa building equipped with brand newequipment and steam and sauna rooms.
Golf:
If golf is your game, there is a handsome 18 hole golf course on the island just 25 minutes away. Sunset Waters can make arrangements for t-times.
Miniature Golf.
An eighteen-hole miniature golf course is located near the resort office and receives a lot of play from family groups and young adults.
Court Sports.

The beach has a tennis court with a high quality playing surface and new professional quality lights. There is also a children's play area with swings and a sand volleyball court. Basketball hoops and soccer nets are also available at the tennis court. |

On the large, secluded beach you will find a fleet of kayaks, floats, pedal boats, and snorkel equipment, which are available for your use. The resort's large swimming pool features a swim-up pool bar, and is home to many activities and games throughout the day. Snorkel equipment, sit-on-top kayaks and paddleboats are available for guests. The calm waters of the coast at Sunset Waters and in particular the calm waters of Santa Martha Bay is ideal for kayaking.
Marina Services.
Santa Martha Bay provides a fine sheltered docking area for boats. The improved marina at Sunset Waters offers limited service.
Eco-Tourism.
Christoffel Mountain National Park and Natural Area are a
short drive from Sunset Waters Beach Resort. The park offers hiking, including
a 1-hour hike (with some scrambling) to the top of Mt. Christoffel, at 1,295
ft the highest point on the island, scenic drives and guided nature walks.
Mountain biking and horseback riding are also available at the park.
Numerous other eco-travel type activities are also available in and around
Sunset Waters. See Exhibit E for a detailed discussion of the hiking and nature
activities available at Christoffel Park and other close by areas. Also see
Exhibit D for excerpts of the Curacao Hiking Guide recently published by Stichting
Uniek Curacao, which is now actively involved in promoting eco-tourism in
Curacao.
Fishing.
Fishing, including tarpon and snook, is available in and around Curacao and its bays, including Santa Martha Bay. Deep-sea fishing is available further offshore.
Scuba diving, either from the beach or by boat from the dive
shop at Sunset Waters Beach Resort is available.
