the turnstyles was tracked almost entirely live, with the whole band
recording their respective parts and vocals simultaneously. But unlike
the days of Sun Records when the band was all in the same room with
one mic, this CD was recorded to multi-track and mixed like any other
studio record. The result is the best of both worlds, all the energy
and fire of a live performance plus all the sonic sparkle of a fully
produced studio recording. Pop music for the new millenium.
