A tour-de-force performance
by a gifted young artist, this CD features pianist Matt Nelson teaming
with drummer Matt Nischan to create a jazz/fusion landscape that hearkens
back to Chick Corea and Lyle Mays. With his piano front and center,
Nelson also takes on organ, guitar, synth and bass duties, while Nischan
adds guitar and flute. As Nelson quotes a friend, "Take this
in, for this is my soul, and all of its message is me."
