Barrelhouse Chuck follows
in the tradition of blues piano greats Sunnyland Slim, Jimmy Walker,
Little Brother Montgomery, Detroit Jr., Big Moose Walker and Blind
John Davis. While a young and aspiring musician, Chuck was welcomed
by some of these giants into their lives and onto their bandstands,
taken into their homes and called "son." This record is
a tribute to those who gave so generously to him, and features other
Chicago blues masters S.P. Leary, Calvin Jones, Willie Smith, Billy
Flynn, Hash Brown and "Harmonica" Todd Levine.
